The Standard Decorative Matboard collection will slow the speed of aging to the artwork, for minimum and commended levels of framing and complies with FATG quality standards.
NON-CONSERVATION QUALITY
Features:

Wood pulp an recycled paper

Wood pulp treated with calcium carbonate to neutralize the pH temporarly. The pulp (still) contains lignin, which turns into acid over time.

Colored surface with a white core and backing.

Should last 7 years on average

Surface papers are direct-dyed (use liquid dyes), which means the will fade and bleed when they come in contact with moisture and UV rays.
