At Crescent, we want to help conserve our planet’s natural resources. That is why we have committed ourselves long-term to developing sustainable products – from the raw materials to the production process and beyond.
We support an environmental project that carries out reforestation programmes, and we lead our industry in recycling and reducing energy consumption.

We offer FSC®-certified products because we want to help promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable forest management.
Climate protection partner
We work towards neutralizing our CO2 emissions by supporting the reforestation programs of our climate protection partner 'PLANT-MY-TREE®'. Our contribution also helps to preserve our planet's biodiversity, protect soils from erosion and improve air quality.
Since 2009 PLANT-MY-TREE® has been carrying out reforestation projects to offset CO 2 throughout Germany. The aim is to protect the environment and the climate in Germany, i.e. where our CO 2 emissions also occur. Since 2020, PLANT-MY-TREE® has been carrying out forest conversion and forest protection projects in addition to initial afforestation and attaches great importance to high biodiversity. The regional conditions are taken into account and, if possible, mixed forests are planted. This creates a natural habitat for insects and animals over decades. Sustainable tree planting on the mainly own land as well as planned project periods of at least 99 years, during which no deforestation or economic use should take place, underline the long-term climate protection goals of PLANT-MY-TREE®.
PLANT-MY-TREE® was successfully certified according to DIN ISO 9001: 2015 by TÜV Rheinland at the beginning of 2020. Together with many large and small partners, PLANT-MY-TREE® contributes to environmental and climate protection according to the motto "Every tree counts" and "Climate protection is fun" in order to leave behind a world worth living in for future generations.
